Ocean RoRo
A Roll-On/Roll-Off ship specialising in carrying wheeled cargo is the safest and quickest option for transporting helicopters by ocean.
Shipped on a MAFI Roll Trailer or towed inside the vessel, helicopters are stowed and transported safely under deck. With Ro/Ro vessels, loading and unloading is fast and efficient, saving valuable time on the transportation journey.
Heli Skycargo contracts with the very best global Ro/Ro carriers, including as NYK, Höegh Autoliners, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, MOL (Mitsui O.S.K. Lines), K Line, Armacup, EUKOR, the Grimaldi Group, Bahri Shipping and many others.
Secured on a MAFI roll trailer, the helicopter is roll on/off the Ro/Ro vessel
Cargo is loaded under deck offering a very secured transportation during the sea voyage
When MAFI is not an option, helicopter can be ‘wheeled’ on/off the Ro/Ro vessel
Transload operation from truck to MAFI is performed at the port supervised by technicians and HSC team
