What we do
Ocean Lo/Lo
Alternatively, helicopters can be transported using a Lift-on/Lift-Off method – either via container ships or a multipurpose heavy lift vessel. The cargo is lifted on and off the shipping vessel by crane, before being safely stored and secured for travel.
Though this method adds some time to your transportation schedule to account for loading and unloading, it is ideal for situations where the destination or departure port is not served by Ro/Ro carriers, or where the Ro/Ro carrier schedule does not meet your requirements.
LOLO stands for Lift On/Lift Off, the process to load/unload the helicopter in the ship
MPV (Multi Purpose Vessel) is a reliable option to reach remote ports that are not commonly service by container ship
On a container ship, helicopters would be shipped as ‘BreakBulk’ lashed onto a bed of flat racks
Loading alongside ship is supervised by technicians and HSC Team
