OCEAN RORO

Shipped on a MAFI platform or towed inside the vessel, helicopters are transported under deck in Roll-on/roll-off ships, vessels specialized to carry wheeled cargo. Heli Skycargo contracts with the major global Ro/Ro carriers such as NYK, HOEGH, WALLENIUS, MOL, K LINE, ARMACUP, EUKOR, GRIMALDI.

OCEAN LO/LO

Weither a particular port pair is not served by Ro/Ro Carriers or the schedule is not suitable, helicopters can be transported using Lift-on/Lift-Off method either on container ships or on Multipurpose Heavylifter Vessels.

OCEAN FCL

Weither partially or fully disassembled, helicopters can be transported using 40’High Cube, 40’ Open Top or 40’ Flat Rack Container

AIR CHARTERING

When time is of the essence, chartering is the only solution to get the asset at destination in a very short notice. We transport by Antonov 124-100, Ilyushin 76, Boeing 747-400F, 747-8F, Hercules C-130.

Please note: For locations where B747 Freighters do not land, and road freight would be too much of a distance, chartering a plane is the alternative to transport the helicopter.

ROAD FREIGHT

Road Freight is an important segment during the helicopter transportation. We have exclusive contracts around the world with specialized trucking companies for those exceptional transports with air ride trucks. Weither it is to transport in China, Colombia, Italy or USA, our carefully selected trucking companies are on stand by ready to serve.

AIR COMMERCIAL

When time allows, helicopter once dismantled is positioned on 20” aircraft pallets and loaded on on board B747-400F or in the modern B747-8F. We work with reputable commercial cargo freighter such as CARGOLUX, KOREAN AIRLINES, SILKWAY, CHINA AIRLINES, CATHAY PACIFIC, SINGAPORE AIRLINES.

Please note: Depending on the locations and flight schedule, door-to-door transit time would normally range from 7 to 10 days

EQUIPMENT RENTAL We have our own dedicated S76C++ airfreight cradle and AW139 saddle for oceanfreight and road freight that can be rented out for the transportation of Sikorski 76C++ and Leonardo Helicopter AW139.

OBC Our hand carry team is ready to hop on a plane to get your parts delivered with speed at destination. It takes 60 minutes Chrono to come up with a solution upon receipt of your request.

FERRY FLIGHT CLEARANCE Remote location may not have appropriate air and ocean connection resulting in ferry flighting the helicopter to another country where the transport will take place. We can take care of the ferry flight clearance with ease.

CUSTOMS BROKERAGE We select the best player with strong custom knowledge in order to provide you with country import regulation.

CRATES MANUFACTURE We are currently able to manufacture high quality crates in Malaysia, Italy, USA, Gabon, Cameroon for packing blades and spares.

SHRINK WRAPPING We provide shrink wrapping for preservation and for transportation. Each wrap comes fully suited with access hatches, warning labels, shockwatch and tiltwatch.

CARGO INSURANCE We provide a comprehensive all-risk marine insurance at a very competitive price.
